New Ashtray - Cigarette Lighter Lights

Here's a simple DIY for changing the light color of the ashtray light and the cigarette lighter light ring.

Items needed:

Phillips screwdriver

2ea. #74 incandescent bulbs of your color choice

*Total cost ~$1.98

The Project

1. Follow the site's "easy dash removal" DIY (NOTE: you don't have to fully
remove the dash facia, you simply need to remove the screws and "pop"
the bottom portion near the ashtray out)

2. Untwist the #74 bulb socket that sits above the ashtray.

3. Remove bulb and replace with new bulb of your color choice. Twist back into place.

4. Untwist the #74 bulb socket that is right above the cigarette lighter.

5. Remove bulb and replace with new bulb of your color choice. Twist back into place.

6. Reassemble your dash facia and enjoy
