The stock Elantra GT floor mats are actually pretty darn nice. You have that cool GT logo and it's great to have that little hook to secure them to the floor. There's only one problem; they're way too thin. Ask any manual tranny GT owner and I'm sure their mats have worn out from sliding their heel near the clutch. Well thanks to member RRRGT we have a great solution. A company called GG Bailey makes terrific custom floor mats for the GT. They're available in a variety of colors and include an option for an extra thick heel pad. These mats are extremely high quality, thick and luxurious. Ron's mats even include the "GT" lettering in red. The fit is exact to stock and they have a foam backing and special clips to assure they won't move. These are not inexpensive, but you can expect them to outlast the stock ones by a long shot. One of the cool features is the blacklight white thread used in the lettering which glows purple at night! A set of four w/ the driver side heel pad will run about $130 shipped.
