OE hatchback spoiler

Rear spoilers on race cars serve a purpose. They add to the aerodynamic efficiency and stability of the vehicle at high racing speeds. On the street, spoilers are mostly cosmetic and give the car a more aggressive appearance. Without question, spoilers are the most popular aftermarket appearance mod. The 2003 Elantra GT's feature standard rear spoilers. The sedan will receive a fairly aggressive looking body color spoiler while the hatchback gets last year's optional black spoiler. The sedan's spoiler looks excellent! The hatchback's spoiler is fairly basic although the low profile seems to compliment the hatch design.

The spoiler below is actually a Hyundai product! It is offered in Korea, Europe and Canada. Unfortunately Hyundai USA, in it's wisdom, chose not to use this one! I like the look of it but wonder if it will reduce the already limited rear visibilty in the hatchback. It is available online thru HDK Autosport and comes pre-painted using your factory paint code. Overall, a real contender!

This is an interesting option to the stock GT sedan
high spoiler. I really like this lower style and center brake light. Made by Hyundai in Korea.

This spoiler in manufactured by Texas DAR. It is an excellent choice. I like the low wing design and it seems aggressive enough yet understated. This spoiler is available both unpainted and painted. The GT hatch's rear profile is a bit on the tall side and unlike the spoiler on the left, this spoiler won't exaggerate the height. It is available thru Spoilers4Less and is covered by a 3 year warranty.

Here's a nice spoiler I found which is available through atd1.com. It's a custom made one and costs $149.95 unpainted and for 100 bucks more they'll paint it factory color for you. I kinda like this one! Order it here.

When it comes to spoilers, Canada rules! This is the body colored large rear lip spoiler offered by Hyundai Canada. I like it!
